And the winner for me was http://twitter.com/CoopParty/status/2622570566 with "Ed Mayo, previously of New Economics Foundation & Consumer Focus, named as new Chief Exec of Co-operatives UK"

Where did you see it first?

I'm not overjoyed by this appointment. Consumer Focus have been on my radar a lot lately, as they seem to have been utterly failing to defend citizens' interests against the New Enclosures of copyright law in the Digital Britain process (which I wrote about in http://www.news.software.coop/digital-b ... lance/686/ amongst others). It's been left to software.coop, the OpenRightsGroup.org and other similar liberalisationists to do that, but without any support from Consumer Focus, we were pretty completely marginalised.

But I'll wait and see how he himself behaves, rather than his old organisation. At least his blog is on free and open source software over at http://edmayo.wordpress.com/
